A subsidiary of the Dutch owned, Nutreco Group, Skretting is recognised globally as the world leader in the production and supply of fish feed for the aquaculture industry. Locally, we are the leading supplier of fish feed in Australasia, supplying to wide range of customers located in Australia and New Zealand. Based 20km from the CBD of Hobart, with a team of 73 staff, Skretting Australia announce an opportunity in the Marketing Team.

Communications and Sustainability Officer

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position will: 

  • Coordinate and implement the business communication and sustainability strategies. 
  • Prepare, manage and update marketing and promotional material. 
  • Plan our participation in conferences and coordinate events. 
  • Ensure implementation of sustainability objectives
  • Maintain sustainability dialogue with key stakeholders

The successful applicant will be an excellent team player and communicator, with a strong biological science background. Supported by an existing network of Skretting businesses and global teams, this position will safeguard and develop the visual image of Skretting Australia.

A keen understanding of visual design and desktop publishing will help with responsibilities such as publishing the customer Nexus magazine and updating our website, while biological or environmental science background provides the basis to convert concept into communication.
