Ocean trout
(Oncorhynchus mykiss)

Ocean trout is a cold water species and is farmed in Tasmania. Their life cycle and farming is very similar to that of Atlantic salmon with trout starting their life in freshwater and then migrating into seawater. This presents some unique challenges nutritionally. Our commitment to research and development on the nutritional requirements of the Ocean trout life stages has led to a range of feeds being designed for every step of the farming process.
