Steelhead

The steelhead trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss irideus) is an anadromous form of the coastal rainbow trout. The steelhead grows to a larger size (9kg) compared to the freshwater rainbow trout (2.5kg). Similar as the salmon, steelhead return to the location where they were born to spawn.
