Meet Yenny
Yenny Wang is 24 years old and has been working for Skretting Australia for two years as a nutrition technician.
Skretting's commitment to animal nutrition, research and development, and the aquaculture sector in general, was a great fit for what I am looking for on a professional level.
"I studied Marine and Antarctic Sciences, with a specialization in Marine Ecology. During my first year at university, I had the opportunity to visit Skretting Australia, and I was very impressed with their nutrition expertise and professionalism. At the time, I was preparing for a PhD project on Atlantic salmon performance. When I saw that Skretting was looking for a technical profile in Nutrition, I knew I couldn't pass up that opportunity. After several interviews with the team, it was clear to me that Skretting was the ideal environment to contribute to the aquaculture industry and make a difference in an ever-changing world. His commitment to advancing knowledge in animal nutrition, R+D and the aquaculture industry in general was a perfect fit for my career goals.
I joined Skretting in August 2022 and have since had the privilege of learning from a team with a high level of knowledge and experience. In my day-to-day work, I am part of the marketing team, supporting the formulator with daily adjustments and participating in tasks related to our Integrated Business Planning cycle. I have also successfully led a nutritional monitoring program, which I am now helping to implement in other companies in the group. The resources offered by Nutreco and the collaborative network between local and global teams have been key, fostering a culture of knowledge exchange and search for solutions. In addition, Skretting's Aquaculture Innovation group has a team of world-class researchers who scientifically back up our practical approach.
I am very grateful to be part of a team that draws on more than 125 years of work, and I am excited to continue contributing to success and innovation in nutrition and aquaculture."
Know success
Success Nwuzi is 27 years old and works as a Customer Service Representative at Skretting Nigeria. In 2019 he graduated in Economics from the Ignatius Ajuru University, in Port Harcourt.

I grew up in the riparian Niger Delta in Nigeria, where there are unregulated and unsustainable fishing practices that severely affect marine life. I firmly believe that aquaculture is one of the key solutions to address this problem.
"As it is mandatory for all graduates to complete the National Youth Service (NYSC) in Nigeria, I was assigned to Ibadan, about 600 km from home. It was there that a friend told me about Skretting Nigeria. After doing some research on the company, I loved the idea of working here. A few months after finishing NYSC, I applied for the position of Customer Service Representative and got the job.
My passion for what Skretting does comes from my interest in aquaculture. I grew up in the riparian area of the Niger Delta, where there are unregulated and unsustainable fishing practices that negatively affect marine life. I believe that aquaculture is one of the ways to address this problem. After two years working here, I'm proud to see how Skretting is driving sustainability, innovation and solutions that, in the long term, will improve the way fish is farmed, not only in my community, but across Nigeria.
I highly value the company's investment in creating a healthy work environment, which has helped me grow in my role. One of the aspects I enjoy most about my job as a Customer Service Representative is being able to interact with customers and listen to their feedback on our products."

Meet Sehreen
Sehreen Haider is 27 years old and works as a Quality Control Coordinator at Skretting North America.
What motivates me to get up every day is that my work allows me to learn and grow by facing exciting new challenges. I really see myself here for many more years.
"I specialized in Food Microbiology, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety and Quality Control both in my bachelor's degree and in the master's degree.
My interest in the feed industry arose during my years of study, when I learned about "Good Aquaculture Practices" (BAP). Since then, I have been on the lookout for opportunities in the aquaculture sector, although I never imagined that one day I would receive a call from Skretting. Working here has been a fascinating experience: I am amazed at how each species of fish has unique nutritional needs, and how even aspects such as the buoyancy of the feed influence its quality. Also, I love the collaboration between departments; They've really shown me what effective communication between teams means.
What motivates me to get up every day is the changing nature of our work. Each day brings new challenges that allow me to learn, grow and demonstrate my professional ethics. Although I've only been at Skretting for a short time, I honestly see myself growing and staying here for many more years.
Being part of Skretting's more than 125-year history is a great satisfaction, and I am grateful to contribute to this journey. I'm excited about everything that's yet to come!"
