Skretting España S.A. Policy
The Management of SKRETTING ESPAÑA, for its facilities located in Cojóbar, Burgos, aware of:
- the importance of meeting the needs of our customers with safe and top-quality products
- our responsibility regarding the Food Safety of our products
- Environmental Prevention
- guarantee the Health and Safety of our workers,
has decided to implement an Integrated Management System in the company, effective and appropriate to our needs, in accordance with the following standards: UNE-EN ISO 14001, UNE-EN ISO 22000, UNE-EN ISO 45001, Global GAP, HALAL and ASC for the scope of:
- Design and Production of Complete Compound Feeds for Aquaculture Species
- Production of pet food. Not applicable: Global GAP, HALAL and ASC.
- Production of medicated feed for therapeutic use for aquaculture species
Skretting España S.A., led by the Management, acquires the following commitments:

- Involve staff to develop a positive attitude to improve the quality and safety of our products, their commitment to the environment, and the health and safety of our workers, through continuous training in their respective areas.
- Always provide safe products that comply with the established requirements and specifications as well as with current legislation, and with all those requirements that our organization voluntarily subscribes to.
- To focus our work on an environment that guarantees continuous improvement, through the establishment and periodic reviews of our objectives and actions on quality, the environment, food safety and occupational health and safety. At the same time, we carry out a permanent analysis of the information, both our own and that collected from interested parties, to prevent failures and improve our processes and products.
- To control and evaluate periodically, updating when necessary, the identification of risks to the safety of our products, our environmental aspects, quality and risks to occupational health and safety arising from the development of our activities.
- To protect the environment and our surroundings, through actions and measures aimed at preventing any type of alteration that may arise from our activities, promoting the sustainable use of natural resources and promoting the efficient use of energy, through the analysis of the Life Cycle of our products.
- Adapt our Management System to the nature and level of risks to the Occupational Health and Safety of any individual or group (whether internal or external) affected by the organization's activity, including respect for human rights, prevention and control of serious accidents, due to the presence in our activity of substances capable of forming explosive atmospheres. Establishing the prevention plans and programs that are necessary to address all identified occupational risks, emergency situations; controlling them and promoting actions that lead to the improvement of working conditions and the reduction of accidents, the ultimate goal being to eliminate risk situations in order to minimise occupational accidents, environmental and industrial safety emergencies and occupational diseases.
- Promote healthy living in the work environment. Recommend and propose activities to promote good habits and improve the physical and emotional health of workers. Creating healthy and safe environments and thus improving the work environment.
- To communicate, promote and consult workers on issues related to safety and health at work, promoting it from the Health and Safety Committee.
- The staff plays a fundamental role in the management of SKRETTING ESPAÑA, S.A., promoting Safety, the Quality of our products, respect for the Environment and the performance of work in the best possible health and safety conditions, following the specific instructions of each position. knowing and working in accordance with the relevant Nutrace© standards.
SKRETTING ESPAÑA, S.A., adopts specific objectives based on the commitments mentioned in this document and will review the adequacy of this policy in the Management Review of the System.
Any person who works for or on behalf of SKRETTING ESPAÑA, S.A., is obliged to know and respect this policy which is disseminated through direct communication to suppliers and display on the notice boards distributed by the company to facilitate public access.
