Perla Larva

Perla Larva is Skretting's high-quality starter diet for African catfish, allowing all larvae with an equal opportunity to feed, ensuring a very high survival rate. Perla Larva is a complete Artemia replacer, making hatcheries less dependent on uncertain feed sources whilst also removing the risk of pathogen transmission via live feed sources.

Perla Larva is best fed to catfish larvae for the first 3 weeks after hatching or when the fry have reached a bodyweight of 1.5g. At this a transition can be made to the Perla MP or micropellet range.

To minimize a reduction in feed intake when changing to a new particle size it is recommended to introduce the product gradually over the course of about a week.
