Building the Future of Sustainable Aquaculture: Skretting Indonesia at Indonesia Mariculture Conference 2025
As we know, the fish market in Indonesia has been experiencing a steady decline over the years. Currently, the key players in the fish feed supply industry are few and can be counted on one hand.
This is why the event adopted the theme: "Realizing the Future of Sustainable Aquaculture Through National Collaboration." As suppliers, we must work hand in hand with the government, stakeholders, and farmers to turn this vision into reality.
During the event, we gained valuable insights from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Aquaculture Division, on policy direction and synergy to support national mariculture. Additionally, we learned about strategies to improve efficiency and adopt new technologies in mariculture from stakeholders such as USSEC (United States Soybean Export Council), who presented on floating net cage aquaculture, and MSD Animal Health, who shared insights on vaccination effectiveness in large-scale marine aquaculture.
In the closing session, Skretting Indonesia was honored to participate in the talk show segment, where Mr. Andhika, our Fish Division Sales & Technical Manager, was invited to speak on the topic: “The Role of Supporting Industries in Advancing Large-Scale Marine Aquaculture.”
We hope this event will make a meaningful contribution toward building a more sustainable and resilient mariculture industry in Indonesia.
