Jean Sebastian Leite, Senior Director Sustainable Business Development, Rabobank

Jean Sebastian commenced his tenure with Rabobank in 2008, serving in a predominantly global asset management capacity within the leasing division, DLL, specifically in the F&A and AGCO Finance business segments. It was during his time at DLL that Jean Sebastian initiated the AGCO Finance Climate Journey Fund, a €100 million initiative aimed at supporting producers in reducing direct emissions through innovative practices and technologies.

In December 2022, Jean Sebastian transitioned to Rabobank’s Wholesale Europe and Africa business, assuming the role of Senior Director of Sustainable Business Development. In this position, he facilitates client commercial engagement activities across five sectors through the development of financial solutions, knowledge dissemination, and fostering networking opportunities.

Possessing dual Masters degrees in Finance and International Business from institutions in the USA and France, Jean Sebastian has a vast international exposure since departing his native Brazil in 1999.

At the upcoming Aquavision 2024 conference, Jean Sebastian will share compelling narratives of sustainability witnessed from global clients, underpinned by Rabobank’s extensive commitment and research in the field.
