Transparency and trust

Why we need to be transparent

Transparent supply chains can drive more responsible practices and concerted efforts for a sustainable development of aquaculture. It will also enable consumers to access the information they need to trust their seafood suppliers. As aquaculture assumes an expanding role in meeting consumer demand for seafood products, it is only natural that the quality and safety of its products come under the scrutiny of national and international organisations responsible for food safety, and that  consumers are demand more food quality and safety information.

For us in Skretting, it's essential to increase transparency and the traceability of food production along the supply chain. Our feed to food quality and safety system ensures that our customers and end consumers can have full trust and confidence with regard to our feeds. We combine the latest technology and science with the dedication of our staff to produce the highest quality feed, and do our utmost to ensure that our business operations adhere to our own strict environmental guidelines.
