Securing the future of feed
Despite the clear growth trends, fish and shellfish account for only 7% of the protein consumed worldwide, while just 2% of all the food that we eat comes out of the sea. This is despite our oceans covering more than 70% of the Earth’s surface!
What would we see in the future of aquaculture if we had a crystal ball? With the innovation investment in place, we predict leaps in process technology, ingredient use and radical changes to farming systems, all contributing to a more sustainable, circular food system.
