Why we need to be transparent
Aquaculture plays a vital role in seafood production. As the sector develops, producers, customers, regulators and consumers need clear information about how feed is made, where ingredients come from, and how quality, safety and supply-chain risks are managed.
For Skretting, transparency means explaining our requirements, processes and performance, including the scope and limitations of the information available. We continue to strengthen the information available across our ingredient and feed supply chains and report on our policies, actions, progress and remaining challenges.
Quality and safety
Our quality, safety and traceability systems define requirements for ingredient approval, supplier assessment, production controls and feed release. Traceability, testing, audits and certification provide different forms of evidence within their defined scope and support the identification and management of risk.
