The world's leading aquaculture business conference goes virtual on 8 October. Ensure your free place today.

Aquaculture has reached the most defining crossroads in its history. Long before the COVID-19 pandemic, it had achieved universal recognition as one of the most standout food production success stories of recent decades, sustaining faster grow rates than any other sector. Now, as the world continues to emerge from the corona-crisis, aquaculture is ideally placed to accelerate its progress and take a more prominent role in meeting the changing needs of consumers with a rich diversity of accessible, nutritional and sustainable proteins.

Recognising the incredible opportunity that the sector has, AquaVision 2020 will convene leaders, communities and stakeholders from across and beyond the aquaculture space for the first time in a global online conference. This free-to-attend event, broadcast from AquaVision’s home of Stavanger on 8 October 2020, will explore ways in which to best meet market needs in a post-COVID world whilst also delivering global solutions that help address the huge burdens that are being placed on our vulnerable planet.

“We know that aquaculture offers real hope for the future, particularly in meeting the nutritional needs of a world population that is on course to reach 9.7 billion by 2050. A virtual AquaVision 2020 offers the ideal platform for us all to engage a larger audience and rethink our positioning in the new food landscape and to define ways in which we can all capitalise on these exciting new opportunities. Together, we can build a better future,” says Therese Log Bergjod, Skretting CEO.

To ensure AquaVision 2020 can be attended by as many worldwide participants as possible, the conference programme will be staged at the following two convenient times:

  • CET 0900-1100 (UK 0800-1000, Tasmania 1800-2000, Japan 1700-1900)
  • CET 1800-2000 (Chile 1200-1400, Vancouver 0900-1100, Quebec 1200-1400)

Registration is now open at www.aquavision.org, and open to all, so if being at the forefront of aquaculture’s progress and creating a powerful legacy is your ambition, we look forward to your company.
