Headlining the event is former U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, who will deliver a keynote on global geopolitical dynamics and what they could mean for industries worldwide. His perspective will frame the broader context that aquaculture operates in today.

During the first full day of the conference, Rem Korteweg, Programme Lead at the Clingendael Institute, will examine the evolving global order and its impact on trade, security and industrial policy. Anu Bradford, author of The Brussels Effect: How the European Union Rules the Worldand Professor of Law and International Organization at Columbia University, will deepen the conversation from Europe's perspective, atthe intersection of geopolitics, regulation and food security.

She will offer a perspective on China’s role in global demand, trade dynamics and regional influence. Ignacio Briones, former Chilean Minister of Finance, will address how Latin America is adapting to shifting trade dynamics, regulatory pressures and geopolitical uncertainty.

Offering an investment perspective, Hiroaki Ishimoto, General Manager at Mitsui & Co, Ltd, Food Division, Aquaculture & Nutrition, will provide insights into how capital is assessing risk and opportunity in a shifting global environment.

In a time defined by geopolitical uncertainty, rapid technological advancement and growing expectations around sustainability, AquaVision 2026 offers a unique opportunity to step back, gain perspective and engage in meaningful dialogue. It’s a space to challenge assumptions, share knowledge and explore how our industry can continue to evolve and thrive,

The programme will address the strategic importance of raw materials and feed. May-Helen Holme, Innovation Director Salmon at Skretting, will explore the increasing complexity of sourcing feed ingredients in a volatile global context.

The day will conclude with an inspiring session by Felipe Gómez, internationally recognised speaker and business entertainer, who will bring his unique reflection and perspective to round out the discussions.

The final day of the conference will focus on innovation and the technologies that will shape tomorrow’s aquaculture. Anders Gjendemsjø, Partner at McKinsey, will explore the opportunities presented by artificial intelligence, while Ole K. Sivertsen, CDO of AKVA Group, will share perspectives on performance and technology development. Brian Nguyen, CEO of Rynan Technologies, will contribute insights into emerging solutions and showcase broader innovations and inspiration from across the livestock and aquaculture industries.
