Do you know what fish and shrimp like to eat? We do!

Don’t be fooled by their humble appearance: feeds for fish and shrimp are precisely formulated to nurture the individual species, the stage of life they’re at, and the farming systems they are being reared in. It's not just the nutritional requirements that matter though (we’ll get into that later), feeding patterns and taste preferences do too!

Unfortunately, you can’t just throw a feed into the water and expect the fish and shrimp to think it’s delicious. Shrimp nibble, salmon eat it whole, tuna only want a soft pellet... The same way that people have foods they don’t like, fish and shrimp have preferences on texture, taste and even whether they eat near the surface or further down in the water column.  All these elements determine how we actually process the ingredients into a feed. Dive with us and see what really goes on beneath the surface.
