Sergio Dettmer is Vice President of Risk Management at StoneX Financial Inc. – FCM Division, working out of the Miami office. With a career with StoneX that spans over 18 years, Sergio is recognised in the industry as an experienced professional in financial derivatives — including OTC markets, Forex markets, global economy and agricultural commodities (with focus in wheat, corn, soy complex and vegetable oils) — as well as a trusted educator.
Sergio assists StoneX clients in Latin America and Europe by conducting analyses of their operations to determine and evaluate market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks arising from price fluctuations in global commodity markets. He also trains clients in understanding and use effectively financial derivatives to hedge their risk. Sergio is being invited to share his analysis and insights as a speaker in global events in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Spain, Germany, Morocco, and other countries.
