I discovered a little quirk on YouTube. Many OpCos have their own YouTube Channel in their respected languages. When you upload a video it will automatically be set to that language. That affects the ability to translate and use the auto caption translate function. The video should be set to the language of the film manually if it differs from the local language. To change the language follow these steps: In the Creator studio click on the left panel on the button called Content. This will open up the thumbnails of all the videos. Click on the pencil button next to the thumbnail to open up "details". In that pannel scroll down to the bottom and select "show more" In that panel schrol down to "language and caption certifications" make sure the language is set to english, or the language of the film.
